Cornplastic!

A year and a half ago I tripped over Ecoproducts’ line of biodegradable “plastic” disposable food containers made out of corn. Today I’ve had my first such container (made by Fabri-Kal, a competitor) handed to me at Comforts, a deli and cafe in downtown San Anselmo (a lovely, busy place, btw). Were it not labeled I wouldn’t have noticed the difference.
