"Beta" is the Web 2.0 "In Construction Guy"

I’m sitting in this year’s Community Next Viral Marketing Conference where Jonathan Abrams (of Socializr) just noted that his web app “is gamma … which is just like beta, but sillier.” He’s right; the beta badge has become the “in construction” of Web 2.0.
